What? Enjoy Calculus? Is it possible? Quite possibly. While many of our older and more experienced readers are well versed in its study, the concepts in Calculus are often difficult for newcomers to pick up. Well, the Calculus Interactive App ventures to help out the younger ones here on XDA by injecting a bit of fun.
Developed by XDA Forum Member neumedia, the Calculus Interactive App endeavors to help calculus students, especially beginners, to understand the concept and principles of calculus and the different methods of differentiation. The user interface is very cartooney, yet pleasant, and doesn’t overburden the student with walls of theory text books do. Instead, the app uses animations and voice-overs accompanied by a jovial piano tune to explain the purposes of differentiation, principles of limits, gradients and how to differentiate, covering the product rule, quotient rule, and chain rule. There’s also a selection of practice questions to help with the theory, along with worked solutions to explain how to answer the questions.
The Calculus Interactive App can be a very useful application for those who are learning differential calculus, as well as being useful to jog your memory on earlier theory. It’s well polished, well designed and well made, and compatible with Android versions 2.2. So if this interests you, make sure to check out the original thread for more details.
